Twitch merges user data with the broader Amazon ecosystem, meaning your Twitch activity data can be combined with your Amazon shopping and other Amazon subsidiary data for product development and improvement purposes.

Twitch builds unified profiles by combining data across the Amazon ecosystem and linked third-party services like Discord, Steam, and YouTube, enabling cross-service tracking of user behavior.

"Examples of such information we automatically collect include Internet Protocol address ("IP Address"), a unique user ID, device and browser types and identifiers, referring and exit page addresses, software and system type, and information about your interaction with Twitch Services. Examples of how Twitch uses automatically collected information include to: (c) provide customized advertisements, content, and information; (d) monitor the effectiveness of marketing campaigns."

Twitch automatically collects IP addresses and device identifiers, which can be used for geolocation and ad targeting, and shares this data with third-party advertisers who also automatically receive your IP address.

"Twitch reserves the right to change, modify, add, or remove portions of this Privacy Notice at any time (for example to reflect updates to the Twitch Services or to reflect changes in the law). Twitch can modify its privacy practices at any time without direct notice to users, and simply continuing to use the service counts as binding acceptance of any new terms.

Twitch automatically collects detailed device fingerprinting data including unique device identifiers, browser types, and comprehensive interaction tracking across both the service and emails.

"If you close your account, Twitch may retain certain information about you for the activities described in this Privacy Notice, or as permitted or required by applicable law. Once you have asked us to close your account and delete your profile information, we will delete all information that we are not required or permitted to retain by law."

Even after account deletion, Twitch retains data under broad legal justifications. The phrase "permitted to retain by law" gives them wide latitude to keep user information beyond what is strictly required.
