"We may also use your information to personalize services, advertisements, content, and features. Waymo shares information with service providers to perform services on our behalf. Additionally, some riders may request or receive Waymo services through third party platforms ("Access Platforms")."

Waymo shares user data with a broad range of third parties including service providers, advertising partners, social media platforms, and third-party Access Platforms.

"We will retain information we associate with your Waymo account, such as name, email and trip history, while your account remains active. We may also retain certain information when required by law or for our other legitimate business purposes such as: Resolving disputes, Conducting investigations, Improving our products, Addressing safety concerns, Preventing fraud and enhancing customer safety."

Retention is indefinite while the account is active, and data may be kept after closure under broad justifications like 'improving our products' with no specific deletion timelines.

"Inferences drawn from the above such as understanding frequently visited destinations, determining new or optimal drop-off and pickup locations, suggesting destinations, and personalizing your experience, including any ads or other information you see when you use our products and services."

Waymo builds behavioral profiles by drawing inferences from collected data including unique device identifiers, usage patterns, and location history to personalize ads and services.

"We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will not reduce your rights under this Privacy Policy without your explicit consent. We always indicate the date when the last changes were published."

While Waymo pledges not to reduce rights without consent, the policy can otherwise be changed at any time with no requirement for advance notice or affirmative acceptance of new terms.
