Personal Data or Child User Personal Data associated with your account will be kept until your account is deleted unless we no longer need the data to provide products and Services. Please note that we may have to retain some information after your account is deleted, to comply with legal obligations."

SplashLearn retains data indefinitely while the account exists and reserves the right to keep data even after account deletion, with no specific timelines for post-deletion data purging.

"You have the right to ask us to delete your account at any time. You can do so by contacting us at help@splashlearn.com. In case a Parent wants to get a student's classroom account deleted, please contact the student's school... Some information may persist in backups that we maintain, for a reasonable amount of time."

Account deletion requires emailing support rather than offering a self-service option in the app. Parents must go through the school for classroom accounts, and data may persist in backups with no defined timeline.

"If we make material changes in the way we use Personal Data or Child User Personal Data, we will notify you by posting an announcement on our Services, or by email... By continuing to use the Service after the revised Privacy Policy has become effective, you acknowledge that you accept and agree to the current version of the Privacy Policy."

SplashLearn can change the privacy policy and treats continued use as acceptance. While they promise notification for material changes, there is no requirement for affirmative consent from users.
