"Additionally, the App collects precise information about the location of your device. You must first provide permission through your device before our App obtains such location information from technologies like GPS, Wi-Fi, or cell tower proximity (or a combination of these technologies). We, and our service providers, may use and store this information, in combination with other location-based information such as the IP address and billing or postal code provided by you at time of your App registration, to provide enhanced location-based services."

"Your browsing activity may be tracked across different websites and different devices or apps. To our customers, including but not limited to owners and operators of parking locations and their service providers, for their legitimate business purposes, including in order to facilitate your access to parking locations or such customer's services and/or for security and enforcement purposes."

Personal information is shared with a broad range of third parties including service providers, business partners, parking location operators, and their own service providers, creating a wide data-sharing chain.

"To enable our push notification and other mobile communication services, we may collect and store device IDs to identify each unique mobile device that registers for our service, including for example, device tokens from iOS devices, Live IDs from Windows devices, and other similar identifications from devices running on other platforms. We may collect information including location-related information, internet protocol addresses, mobile device models, carrier information, the operating system of your mobile devices."

The app collects persistent unique device identifiers, carrier information, device models, and operating system details beyond what basic push notifications require.

"This policy may change from time to time as described below. Your continued use of the Service after we make changes is deemed to be acceptance of those changes, so please check the policy periodically for updates."

FlashParking can update the privacy policy at any time and treats continued use of the service as acceptance of changes, placing the burden on users to monitor for updates.

"We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting or other legal requirements). When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize it, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible."

No specific retention timelines are given — data is kept as long as deemed 'necessary,' and data in backup archives may be retained indefinitely until deletion becomes 'possible.'

"You may delete your account at any time from your mobile application. We will email you instructions to confirm your identity and finalize your deletion after you submit your account deletion request. If you uninstall the mobile application from your device, the unique identifier associated with your device will continue to be stored. If you re-install the application on the same device, we will be able to re-associate this identifier to your previous transactions and activities."

Account deletion requires a multi-step email confirmation process rather than immediate self-service deletion. Additionally, unique device identifiers persist even after uninstalling the app, allowing re-association of data upon reinstallation.
