The app collects extensive device information including hardware IDs, mobile carrier, ISP, device settings, and multiple unique identifiers — far more than a reading/stories app would need for core functionality.

The app collects multiple advertising identifiers and uses tracking pixels and custom audiences across Facebook, Google, Snapchat, TikTok, Twitter, and Pinterest to link user activity across platforms and devices.

"We may process data using solutions developed by Amazon, BigQuery, Appsflyer, Facebook, Firestore, Apple, Google, Amplitude, Firebase, Snapchat, Pinterest, Tableau, Twitter, Zendesk, Hotjar, PayPal, TikTok. Therefore, some of the data is stored and processed by such third parties."

User data is shared with at least 17 named third-party services spanning analytics, advertising, and marketing — a remarkably large number of data recipients for a reading app.

If we decide to make material changes to this Privacy Policy, you will be notified by available means such as email and will have an opportunity to review the revised Privacy Policy. By continuing to access or use the Service after those changes become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Privacy Policy."

The company can change the privacy policy at will and treats continued use as acceptance of new terms, with no requirement for affirmative consent.

There is no specific retention timeline — data is kept for as long as the company deems 'reasonably necessary,' and the broad exceptions for legal obligations and dispute resolution allow indefinite retention.

The deletion process may take up to 30 days to complete. Account deletion takes up to 30 days, some data survives deletion, and users must separately cancel subscriptions before deleting their account or risk continued charges — placing the burden on the user.

The policy warns that deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription, meaning users could continue being charged even after requesting account deletion if they don't separately cancel.
