The app collects persistent hardware identifiers like MAC address and IMEI, which go beyond what is needed for a video/game app and can be used for cross-device tracking and fingerprinting.

"With your consent, we will also collect your exact or precise location so that we are able to match you with other players in your area. Geo-location data: This includes, for example, your locale, zip code, and general geolocation information (based on your IP address). We obtain this information when you provide it to us or otherwise automatically in the course of your interactions with our Services."

The app collects both precise GPS location (with consent) and general geolocation automatically via IP address. The IP-based geolocation is collected without explicit consent and shared with advertising partners.

"This information may be associated with your user ID, IP address or device ID for the purpose of providing you with our Services, improving and personalizing them, or to make inferences regarding your preferences, predispositions, behavior, abilities and aptitudes. Profiles and Inferences: This includes inferences drawn from any of the information identified above to create a profile reflecting preferences, characteristics, predispositions, behavior, attitudes, intelligence, abilities, and aptitudes."

The company builds detailed behavioral profiles by combining data across gameplay, device identifiers, advertising IDs, and social login data, creating unified user profiles that reflect inferred attitudes, intelligence, and aptitudes.

"Through our Services, we may allow third-party advertising partners to set technologies and other tracking tools to collect information regarding your use of the Services and your devices. We recommend that you review our advertising partners' privacy policies for more information, further details of which are set out below: Tapjoy, Tenjin, Vungle, Unityads, Adcolony, Mopub, Gameanalytics."

Multiple third-party advertising and analytics SDKs are embedded in the app and collect data directly from users' devices, each governed by their own privacy policies that Crazy Maple Studio disclaims control over.

"We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our information practices. If we make any material changes we will notify you by email (sent to the email address specified in your account) or by means of a notice on the Services prior to the change becoming effective. If we are required by applicable data protection laws to give you enhanced notice or seek your consent to any such changes, we will do so."

The company reserves the right to change the privacy policy unilaterally, only providing notice for material changes. Consent is only sought when legally required, meaning continued use effectively constitutes acceptance of new terms.

"We will retain your information for as long as it is needed to achieve the purposes for which it was collected, while your account is active or as needed to provide you with our Services. Notwithstanding the foregoing, we will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, to enforce our legal rights (for a minimum of 5 years or in compliance with applicable laws), and/or to enforce our agreements or otherwise to protect our legitimate interests."

Data is retained indefinitely while the account is active, and even after deletion requests, the company retains data for a minimum of 5 years for legal enforcement purposes, with no clear maximum retention period.

"You may deactivate your Crazy Maple Studio account or delete the email associated with your account by contacting us at reelshort.support@crazymaplestudio.com. If you would like to access or view the personal information we hold about you or for any reason you are concerned with the way we are using your personal information, or would like to correct or request that we delete such personal information, you can also send your request to us at reelshort.support@crazymaplestudio.com."

There is no self-service option to delete an account or personal data. Users must email support for all account deletion and data access requests, creating friction that may discourage users from exercising their rights.
