Medbridge GO for Patients

"Medbridge may allow its Business Partners to use cookies or other similar technologies on or outside the Medbridge platform for the same purposes identified above, including collecting information about Your online activities over time and across different websites, applications, and/or devices. Medbridge may work with website publishers, application developers, advertising networks, and service providers to deliver advertisements and other content promoting Medbridge on other web sites and services."

Business partners can place cookies and tracking technologies directly on the platform and across external sites, enabling third-party data collection from users' devices.

"Cookies and other similar technologies may be used to serve You with advertisements that may be relevant to You and Your interests on other websites, applications, and devices, and to regulate the advertisements You receive and measure their effectiveness."

Medbridge tracks users across different websites, applications, and devices to serve targeted advertisements, building cross-context behavioral profiles.

"Biometric information. Genetic, physiological, behavioral, and biological characteristics, or activity patterns used to extract a template or other identifier or identifying information, such as, fingerprints, faceprints, and voiceprints, iris or retina scans, keystroke, gait, or other physical patterns, and sleep, health, or exercise data."

Medbridge claims to collect an extraordinarily broad range of biometric data including fingerprints, faceprints, voiceprints, keystroke patterns, and gait data — far beyond what a medical education platform would require.

"Geolocation data. Physical location or movements."

Medbridge collects physical location and movement data, which goes beyond what is needed for a healthcare education and exercise platform.

"Medbridge reserves the right to make changes to this privacy policy at any time by giving notice to its Users on this page. It is strongly recommended to check this page often, referring to the date of the last modification listed at the bottom. If You object to any of the changes to the Policy, You must cease using the Medbridge Website and can request that Medbridge remove the Personal Information."

Medbridge can unilaterally change the privacy policy at any time with no direct notice to users — the only recourse is to stop using the service entirely.

"Medbridge stores and retains Personal Information based on the level of sensitivity of this information for the period specified by the applicable legal and regulatory requirements. For some healthcare data, Your individual provider and/or their organization may require Medbridge to retain data based on their individual legal and contractual requirements."

Retention periods are undefined and deferred to vague 'legal and regulatory requirements' and third-party provider demands, giving users no clear understanding of how long their data is kept.

"When You delete the Medbridge Mobile App, any Personal Information saved in Your device will be deleted, but any Personal Information collected and stored by Medbridge will remain in its server. You can request Medbridge to change, correct, or delete Personal Information by contacting Medbridge at [email protected] or call (888) 824-9839."

Deleting the app does not delete server-side data. Actual data deletion requires contacting support via email or phone — there is no self-service deletion option.
