In principle, data is only processed on servers within the European Union. Only if it is technically unavoidable will the data that is absolutely necessary for this purpose be transferred to third countries."

The app shares user data with a large number of third-party service providers including advertising distribution (Appsflyer), analytics (Mixpanel, LogRocket), and tracking tools, many based in the US, creating a broad data-sharing surface.

"Our website also uses technologies from Microsoft Corporation with which data is collected and stored from Bing Ads and from which usage profiles are created using pseudonyms. So-called cross-device tracking, which tracks your usage behavior across several of your devices and can thus be used to display personalized advertising on or in Microsoft websites and apps, can be deactivated at http://choice.microsoft.com/en/opt-out."

The service employs Google Adwords, Facebook Pixel, Bing UET, ActiveCampaign, and Mixpanel tracking technologies that create usage profiles and enable cross-device tracking of user behavior across multiple platforms.

"We store Premium Data together with the related and necessary Mandatory Data for 10 years after the end of the respective subscription year in accordance with Austrian tax and company law requirements (UGB / BAO). To terminate your user account, simply uninstalling the App is not sufficient, but the account must be terminated as described in the GTC."

Premium user data including subscription details and associated personal information (name, email) is retained for 10 years after the subscription ends, a very long retention period even if justified by local tax law.

Users must follow a separate process described in the GTC to actually delete their account — merely uninstalling the app leaves all data intact. Exercising data rights requires contacting support via a ticket system rather than a self-service option.

"This privacy policy may be changed and updated regularly. If this is necessary, you will be asked again, for example via the cookie banner or comparable technologies, to take note or give your consent."

The company reserves the right to change the privacy policy regularly, with notification limited to a cookie banner or 'comparable technologies' — a passive mechanism that users may easily miss.

"As part of your use of the App, we automatically collect certain data that is required to use the App. This includes: IP address, Date and time of the request, Time zone difference from Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), Content of the request (actual page), User ID, E-mail address, Access status/HTTP status code."

The app automatically collects IP addresses on every request, which can be used for IP-based geolocation tracking, along with timezone data that further pinpoints user location.
