Hily Dating app: Meet & Date

"We may use your device location data for personalized advertising. This data is collected with your explicit consent and shared with third-party ad networks for targeted/personalized advertising purposes. Hily also collects your location to determine your distance from other users ("Distance Information"). To show "nearby" location information to you and other users of the App: Wi-fi access points and location data when you use the App."

Hily collects GPS location and WiFi access point data continuously while the app is in use, shares this location data with third-party ad networks (Google, Facebook, AppLovin), and uses it to display distance information to other users.

"To analyze use of the Services; to improve our Services: low power mode; Apple Watch connection; mobile carrier; system user interface style; is pin or fingerprint set on your device; font size; is headphones connected to your device; system memory volume; battery state; battery level; total disk capacity; free disk storage capacity; airplane mode, available processors of JVM, charge device related information, charge USB related information, power capacity, camera presence information, device landscape information, display density."

Hily collects an extraordinarily broad range of device data far beyond what a dating app needs — including battery level, whether headphones are connected, fingerprint/PIN status, disk capacity, Apple Watch connection, airplane mode, and USB charging information.

"Besides the data processors listed above, your data may be processed by other companies through SDK technology. We use Facebook Audience Network to show you more relevant ads. We use AppLovin to show you more relevant ads. We use Adjust to track and analyze our marketing efforts. We use Google Mobile Ads SDK. We use TikTok SDK."

Multiple advertising and analytics SDKs (Facebook, AppLovin, Google Ads, TikTok, Adjust, Firebase, Agora) are embedded in the app, each collecting device identifiers, advertising IDs, location, and behavioral data directly from users' devices.

"Hily may share certain personal information with third parties under circumstances which might be deemed a "sale" or "share" under CPPA for "interest-based advertising" or "cross-context behavioral advertising." Adjust SDK collects data on number of installs; Facebook ID, advertising ID name, email, gender, birthday, Facebook profile photo, Instagram username, IP address, device and app activity information."

Hily engages in cross-context behavioral advertising by sharing advertising identifiers, email, and behavioral data with ad partners who can link user activity across different apps and websites to build unified advertising profiles.

"We may revise the Policy according to new developments or advances in legislation and the broader data protection landscape from time to time, so please check this page regularly to ensure you're always up-to-date with any changes. If we make any changes hereto that, in our sole discretion, are substantial, we will notify you by email or via the App. A notification regarding other changes may be rendered to you by publishing at https://hily.com/privacypolicy."

Hily can change the privacy policy at any time, decides in its sole discretion which changes are "substantial" enough to warrant direct notification, and non-substantial changes may only be posted on the website without any alert.

"All your data is to be fully erased (or anonymized) within 7 calendar days following deletion of your Hily profile, except: in-app features and subscription purchases which are being retained during the term of your subscription and 5 years from the deletion of your user account; messages between users and support team, support tickets, emails are being retained 5 years from the deletion; hashed email address, IP address, profile ID and device ID associated with banned account are retained 5 years."

While Hily claims to delete data within 7 days, significant exceptions allow retention of purchase history, support messages, and identity data for up to 5 years after account deletion. Banned users' data is retained indefinitely under 'legitimate interest.'

"If your Hily profile is banned, a data erasure request will not release you from prohibition to use Hily Services. If your profile is blocked, your other Hily profiles may also be blocked as part of our anti-spam and anti-fraud procedures. We will keep on processing data listed in section 6.3(d) hereof (the "technical data") in order to prevent your further registration and potential violations."

Banned users cannot fully exercise their data deletion rights — Hily retains hashed email, IP, profile ID, and device ID for 5 years after deletion, and explicitly states that a data erasure request will not lift a ban or stop retention of this identification data.
