"Ford will share Personal Information that You provide to FordPass to its authorized third party evaluators to evaluate, Support Services Provider, Ford dealers and distributors. This is necessary in order to answer product questions, request a price quote and perform Support Services."

Personal information is shared with evaluators, service providers, dealers, and distributors. Combined with third-party analytics (Adobe, Google Analytics), advertising networks, and payment processors, the sharing scope is very broad.

"We may collect Information which will include, but not be limited to: identification code of Your communication device which You use to access FordPass or otherwise deal with Ford; details of Your telecom service provider or internet service provider; the operating system of Your system, device and FordPass You last visit to FordPass before visiting FordPass."

Ford collects device identification codes, telecom/ISP details, operating system information, and extensive vehicle data including financing details and court/investigation proceedings — going well beyond what a connected car app requires.

"We may collect Information which will include, but not be limited to: Your geographic location; internet Protocol address."

Ford collects geographic location and IP address data. Combined with vehicle tracking capabilities, this enables continuous location monitoring without specifying limits on when or how often location is collected.

"Ford may contract with vendors to place advertisements on non-Ford websites. When You visit a non-Ford website, these vendors may target Ford advertisements to You based on information about Your previous online activity that the vendor has collected using web tracking tools (e.g., cookies and web beacons)."

Ford uses third-party advertising networks and tracking tools to monitor user activity across non-Ford websites and target advertisements based on cross-site browsing history.

"Ford will retain all Personal Information till such time required for the Purpose or required under applicable law, whichever is later. Non-Personal Information will be retained indefinitely."

Non-personal information is retained indefinitely with no deletion timeline. Personal information retention is tied to vaguely defined 'Purposes,' which are extremely broad, effectively allowing prolonged retention.

"We may change this Privacy Policy at any time by posting the revised Privacy Policy in the "Privacy Policy" section of FordPass. The revised Privacy Policy is effective immediately when posted on FordPass. It is the responsibility of each User to review FordPass and the Privacy Policy periodically to learn of any revisions to this Privacy Policy."

Ford can modify the privacy policy at any time with no obligation to notify users. Changes take effect immediately upon posting, and continued use constitutes acceptance.

"You have an option not to provide or permit Ford to collect Your Personal Information or later on withdraw Your consent with respect to such Personal Information so provided herein by sending an email to fpindia@ford.com."

There is no self-service option to delete data or withdraw consent. Users must email Ford, with no specified response timeline or guarantee of complete deletion, especially given that non-personal information is retained indefinitely.
