"We share your information with the following recipients that are essential to providing our services and communicating with you: Google Analytics... Meta... Branch... Adjust... Taboola... The following data may be processed: advertising ID, email address, phone number, IP address, Galatea web events, app installations, purchases, and website interactions, device information, and operating system information."

The policy lists over 20 third-party recipients including analytics providers, ad networks, attribution trackers, and marketing platforms, many of which receive advertising IDs, email addresses, phone numbers, and behavioral data from the app.

"Branch: We use Branch Metrics, Inc... for the purpose of deeplinks for marketing purposes. We may process the following data: Device ID, IP address, advertising ID, clicks on links, installs, opens, referral source, device, and operating system information. Adjust: We use Adjust GmbH... for the purpose of marketing tracking. We may process the following data: Advertising ID, device ID, IP address, app installs, in-app events, session data, campaign attribution, device and operating system data."

Multiple attribution and tracking SDKs (Branch, Adjust, Meta, Google Analytics, Taboola, Podscribe, Axon AI) collect advertising IDs and device IDs to link user activity across apps, websites, and marketing campaigns for cross-context tracking.

"Approximate location based on device language and time zone... AdMob: We may process the following data: Advertising ID, device ID, IP address, Ad interactions, impressions, and clicks, device and operating system information, network, and location information. AppLovin: We may process the following data: Advertising ID, device ID, IP address... network, and location information."

The app collects approximate location data and shares location information with advertising networks AdMob and AppLovin, extending location tracking beyond what a reading app requires.

"We may process the following data: Device ID, IP address, advertising ID (IDFA/GAID), email address, screen views, session duration, app events, crashes, interactions, device model, OS version, and network information... Marketing data (e.g. advertising identifiers)."

The app collects device IDs, advertising identifiers (IDFA/GAID), hardware details, network information, and detailed interaction data across multiple SDKs, which goes well beyond what a reading app needs for core functionality.

"We reserve the right to change this privacy policy at any time, but we will always comply with the applicable laws on data protection. We recommend that you inform yourself about the current data protection declaration each time you visit the websites and the app."

The company can modify the privacy policy at any time without notifying users, placing the burden on users to check for changes on every visit.

"Unless otherwise stated, we will delete or anonymize your data as soon as it is no longer needed, e.g. your e-mail address after you have unsubscribed from a newsletter. Your data will also be deleted or blocked automatically if the mandatory storage period expires. Data protection inquiries and other legal matters may also be stored for a longer period of time within the scope of the legally relevant retention and statute of limitations periods."

There are no specific deletion timelines. Data is kept as long as deemed 'needed' and legal exceptions allow indefinite retention with no clear upper bound.

"Right to have your data deleted in accordance with Art. 17 GDPR (e.g. you can contact us if you want us to delete certain data that we have stored about you)... You have the right to request information about the data we have stored about you at any time, as well as to request correction or deletion of your data. Please contact our customer service for this purpose."

Account and data deletion requires contacting customer support rather than offering a self-service option in the app or website settings.
