The company can change its privacy policy at any time by simply updating the webpage, with no obligation to notify users. The burden is on users to regularly check for changes.

"You agree that we may collect and use technical data and related information, including but not limited to technical information about Your mobile device, system and application software, and peripherals, that is gathered periodically to facilitate the provision of software updates, product support and other services to You."

The 'including but not limited to' language grants open-ended permission to collect technical data about the user's device, software, and peripherals beyond what is specifically enumerated.

"On sign-up the app assigns the user a country code, push token and device ID, as well as gets your device type and / or model, operating system and Zangi app version. All listed in section 3.3 data is securely stored on servers and is used for technical and support purposes unless otherwise required by law."

Registration data and technical identifiers are stored on servers indefinitely with no stated retention period or deletion timeline.

"In the event of a criminal investigation, when Authority /Police officer /Law enforcement presents an official request supported by the evidence of the ongoing investigation/ subpoena /court order requesting to share any available in the system data, Zangi will share the following data of the suspected in the crime user: registration date, account deletion date, last login date, name completed in the profile, Bio, Premium subscription status, subscription transaction ID, subscription/renewal date, device model, device platform and operating system version, push token, Device ID."

Despite marketing itself as a privacy messenger, Zangi retains and will share a substantial amount of user data with law enforcement from any country's jurisdiction, including device IDs, push tokens, and login history.

"It is the responsibility of the blocked user to check active subscription status and cancel from Google / Apple subscriptions profile, which is outside of the Zangi Private Messenger, thus not affected by blocking. In the event of a criminal investigation... Zangi support is authorized to block the user immediately, unless otherwise requested by law."

If Zangi blocks a user (even based on unverified suspicion), the subscription continues billing and the user is responsible for canceling it through the app store, creating a situation where users pay for a service they cannot access.
