Amazon tracks user location through device location data, IP addresses, image metadata, and physical store sensors including cameras and computer vision systems.

Amazon explicitly retains prior versions of user data indefinitely and only acknowledges deletion rights 'to the extent required by applicable law,' suggesting no proactive deletion timeline.
