Unity automatically collects IP addresses to derive geolocation data, which is then shared with and sold to advertising networks for cross-context behavioral targeting.

"When you use Unity Software to develop games and apps, we may collect information such as IP address, Unity ID, organization ID, project ID, session ID, time stamps (associated with events), Unity Software serial and version number, Unity Software Revision ID, build target, OS platform and version, asset count (approximate number of assets in a folder), session duration, and active duration... and crash data. You cannot opt-out of core business metrics analytics as they are strictly necessary for us to run the services."

Unity collects extensive device and usage telemetry from the development software itself, including session tracking, project details, and crash data, with no ability to opt out of 'core business metrics.'
